- Federico Valverde (Real Madrid)
The first player is of course Fede Valverde. The 22-year-old centermid plays for Real Madrid in LaLiga and isn’t a starter yet, but looks set to take over either Modric’s or Kroos’ position when one of them decides to retire or make a transfer. Valverde is 83 rated and has 89 potential and can also play as a rightwinger and as a rightmid, although he is best suited in the center of the pitch.
- Ronald Araujo (FC Barcelona)
Another Uruguayan talent who plays in LaLiga is Ronald Araujo from FC Barcelona. Araujo is a 22-year-old centerback who starts with an 81 rating and he has 88 potential as well. He looks set to be a very important player for Barca in the future, with Pique being on his decline currently.

Facundo Pellistri is originally a Manchester United player, but he is currently loaned out to Deportivo Alaves in LaLiga. Pellistri is a 19-year-old rightmidfielder who is 70 rated and he has 86 potential as well.
- Darwin Nunez (SL Benfica)
Benfica’s biggest talent currently and the player who knocked out Ajax of the Champions League this year, Darwin Nunez. Nunez is a 22-year-old striker who is 77 rated and has 85 potential with that as well. He can also play on the leftwing and he has great pace combined with good stamina and strength. Will definitely become a big player for Uruguay in the future.
- Manuel Ugarte (Sporting CP)
Manuel Ugarte might not be in the Starting XI of Sporting CP just yet, but he is definitely a big Uruguayan talent. The 20-year-old center-mid, who can also play as a defensive midfielder, is 74 rated and has 84 potential.
