RSC Anderlecht is one of the biggest football clubs in Belgium, having won many trophies over the years and producing many top talents. In this post, I will give you 5 good reasons why you should try RSC Anderlecht in FIFA22 Career Mode!
- HISTORY
RSC Anderlecht was founded in 1908, 113 years ago. The club has the record amount of titles won in Belgium with 34. They have also seen European success, having won the Europa League in the 1982-83 season. In 1986 even, they achieved their highest ever UEFA ranking with a joint first place with Juventus.
- YOUTH ACADEMY
Anderlecht are most known for their youth academy and the quality youth players they have produced over the years. Most players are from Belgium too. Here are just a few examples of players: Romelu Lukaku, Youri Tielemans, Jeremy Doku, Albert Sambi-Lokonga, Lukas Nmecha and Dodi Lukebakio. They currently also have some good talents in Yari Verschaeren, Anouar Ait El Hadj and Mario Stroeykens.
- CURRENT TEAM
The current team involves some interesting players too. Their standout players are Hendrick van Crombrugge, Michael Murillo, Yari Verschaeren and Wesley Hoedt. But what I’m personally more interested in is these players’ past potentials. Because if you really take a good look at the players, you can see that quite a few of them had a good potential in the past:

– Sergio Gomez (FIFA17/18 > 87 Potential | FIFA22 > 81 Potential)

– Killian Sardella (FIFA20/21 > 83 Potential | FIFA22 > 78 Potential)
- LEAGUE FORMAT
For anyone who doesn’t know, the Belgian Pro League has a unique league format where they first play a regular season with 34 matches, before the teams ranked 1 to 6 go into a playoff format, where they play each other twice. With the points the club gathered in the regular season, they get halved when the playoffs are starting. Then the normal points format counts, but seeing the points go in half is definitely a big change up from the normal league systems. Definitely recommend to try this league format!
- MANAGER
Of course we can’t forget about the current manager, who is former footballer and Manchester City legend Vincent Kompany. He first started as a player/manager but is now just the manager. You can try to recreate his looks in FIFA22 Career Mode to make it more realistic and you can make him a legend as a manager as well!
