ANDRÉ ONANA IS BACK & WONDERKIDS POTENTIALS DOWNGRADES | SQUAD UPDATE

As most of you will probably know, there is a new Squad Update almost every week, containing newly added players and lots of potential upgrades and downgrades. In this post I'm showing you all the information you need about the latest Squad Update (5 November 2021)

The latest Squad Update from 5 November 2021 is now live on all consoles and it’s a very interesting one, with a returning player, newly added talents and lots of potential upgrades and downgrades for U23 Talents in FIFA22 Career Mode. So let’s see all the contents:

  • André Onana

As Ajax goalkeeper André Onana was removed during the FIFA21 cycle as he had taken a banned substance in real life and got a 9-month suspension from playing any football matches. The suspension is almost over and for that reason EA decided to add him back. The now 25-year-old is 83 rated and has 86 potential. He is valued at £31.8 Million pounds.

  • New Talents

In total, two U23 talents have been newly added to the game, who both have 80 potential. The first talent is Harvey Vale, who is a 17-year-old English player who plays for Chelsea. He starts off with a 63 rating and has 83 potential. He can play both on the wing and as a central attacking midfielder and his main attributes are his pace, balance and agility.

Secondly, is a new Ajax talent who got added in Youri Regeer. Regeer is a 17-year-old central midfielder, who can also play as a rightback, who starts off with a 64 rating and has 80 potential. He has very well-rounded stats and his main attributes are his pace and balance.

  • Potential Upgrades

Next up, let’s go through the main upgrades in potential for U23 players. Quite a disappointing list in terms of the amount of high potential talents that got upgraded.

  2. Jacob Ramsey (Aston Villa): 82>84
  3. Maduka Okoye (Sparta Rotterdam): 81>82
  4. Cade Cowell (San Jose Earthquakes): 80>82
  5. Alan Virginius (FC Sochaux): 79>82
  6. José López (Lanus): 81>82
  7. Yassine Benrahou (Nimes Olympique): 79>82
  8. Ferdi Kadioglu (Fenerbahce): 81>82
  9. Santiago Simón (River Plate): 79>82
  10. Tino Livramento (Southampton): 80>82
  11. Santiago Sosa (Atlanta United): 80>81
  12. Tomás Alarcón (Cadiz): 80>81
  13. Tyrone Mitchell (Crystal Palace): 79>81
  • Potential Downgrades

Lastly, we will show you potential downgrades of the highest potential talents. Some big downgrades…
