With an overhauled Player Career Mode, you might need to give the mode another try with one of my recommended Player Career Mode Challenges!

With Player Career Mode getting a complete overhaul in FIFA22, there are a lot of great options of players to play with in the new Player Career Mode. In this post, I will give you five recommended players to do a Player Career Mode with in the next FIFA!

  • Noa Lang – Club Brugge

Noa Lang has been on top form from the start of this season and is looking to continue this form to make a good move next summer. The Dutch winger came from Ajax after not leaving on the best of terms with a lot of questions regarding Lang’s future and if he will fulfil his potential. As he has done quite well so far for Club Brugge, Lang is getting more and more hype around him nowadays.

In the Player Career Mode with Lang, you will have to make Club Brugge Belgian league champions in the first season, and making a big move afterwards. Make sure Lang also starts getting into the Dutch national team in the first few seasons. You will have to make sure Lang fulfils his potential during this save!

  • Armin Bella Kotchap – VfL Bochum

Bella Kotchap has been a top talent in FIFA for the last few years now, but is still yet to fully break through it feels like. With Bochum now playing in the Bundesliga after last season’s promotion, there is a big task for Bella-Kotchap to help and try to keep Bochum in the Bundesliga. Bella Kotchap has 5* weak foot, good pace and great strength in FIFA21 Career Mode (FIFA22 info not released yet), so he will be fun to use in a Player Career Mode.

So, you have to keep Bochum in the Bundesliga for at least the first season, and slowly build a path for Bella Kotchap climbing through some German clubs, with potentially ending up at Bayern Munich or to try and overtake them with Borussia Dortmund.

  • Xavi Simons – PSG

Now finally having a scanned face in FIFA22, Xavi Simons is a great option for a Player Career Mode. As he is already at PSG, you can try to work yourself into the first team, playing alongside Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappé. Or you can try to get a loan elsewhere for the first few seasons, get some experience and come back as an immediate starter for PSG.

It will be more difficult then you think to work yourself into the first team of PSG, as they will keep spending more and more money on new players, so this challenge definitely is more difficult then you might imagine at first! Another tough task will be to work your way into the Dutch national team with the likes of Frenkie de Jong and Ryan Gravenberch already playing in your position!

  • Daryl Dike – Orlando City

After having a fantastic second half of the season for Barnsley in the EFL Championship, getting them in the promotion play-offs, Daryl Dike wasn’t able to make a move in the summer transfer window. This means he stays at Orlando City for another season. You will have to perform well at Orlando in the first season with Dike, potentially winning the MLS as well. After, you will have plenty of clubs to choose from. You decide in which direction Dike’s career is going to. Are you going to a top 5 league in Europe straight away, or are you moving to a league just outside of that and build your way up through there?

An interesting challenge to say the least, with the option of getting into the USA national team as well and playing with a very talented generation of players from the USA!

  • Gavin Bazunu – Portsmouth

Gavin Bazunu is a fantastic goalkeeping talent currently playing at Portsmouth in League One and is loaned out from Manchester City. The Irish goalkeeper actually saved a penalty from Cristiano Ronaldo during the last international break. He later on still conceded two to the Portuguese star, but the saved penalty showed that Bazunu does have talent.

A different type of Player Career Mode is to become a goalkeeper and in this instance, as Gavin Bazunu. Make sure you play well at Portsmouth, before going back to Manchester City. You can decide to be the second goalkeeper behind Ederson or decide to go on another loan or find regular playtime somewhere else. You can also try to help Ireland qualify for the Euros or the World Cup in the Career Mode too!
